Painting

This is a task that I normally hire someone (most likely that will only except cash... if you get my drift,) to do as I sit back with a glass of wine and admire their hard days labor.  Well, with a baby coming money gets tight pretty quickly, so Nick and I decided to do it ourselves.   We had decided that we would start next weekend, so I went off and got the paint yesterday while Nick was at work.  With paint in hand I decided to go ahead and trim out the room... trimming out to room lead to four half painted walls (as high as I could reach,) and then Nick came home, not knowing I had started on our little project.. one that I would definitely need some help with, and one that he was not prepared to start until next week!

As I heard the door open I yelled below for him to remember that he said, "I do" to me and that he loved me very much... he walked into see our project started a week earlier than intended.  Being the amazing and loving husband that he is, he grabbed a paint brush and got to work.  He was not shocked at all that I couldn't wait one more week!

Here are the things that I have learned about painting:

1.  Nick and I are not very good at paining
2.  Nick and I do not like painting
3.  Most importantly, it was worth EVERY penny we have paid to hire people in the past to paint!!!!!!
